My Level Design Sketches
I didn't make a Photoshop mockup as I just went straight into unreal and created the actual tilemaps there.
The Tiles in these sheet shots where not created by me, Only the layout was made by me

Level 1 - Ocean/Shipwreck
The start of this level is the begging of the game so it is very simple, introducing obstacles once at a time to teach the player how to move. there are blocks to jump, slopes that u can slide on, then lower roofs u must crouch under, and damaging plastic on the floor. and there is a weapon to a pickup which is visible from the start, hinting towards the player to get to it, and if the player must break boxes to progress so obtaining the weapon is required
Level 2 - Submarine
This level was extremely rushed and made in 20 minutes without any time to playtest and adjust, so unfortunately it is not near as good as the first one, it still does consider how the player will progress.
at the start the player is able to see the weapon below them, they will have to go on a longer path to get it but it will help them defeat enemies much faster and help them stay alive.
at the end during the boss fight there are multiple floating platforms with ladders which allow for more complex movement to dodge the bosses attacks
